Subject: 18719 Joint Agree./City-County/Community Service Program Date: Mon, 9 Jul 1990 10:22:00 -0500 RESOLUTION NO. 18719 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A JOINT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AND HAMILTON COUNTY RELATIVE TO THE HAMILTON COUNTY COURTS COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM WITH THE CITY REIMBURSING HAMILTON COUNTY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($31,500.00). WHEREAS, Hamilton County operates a program through its Courts Community Service Program that utilizes offenders to perform certain tasks and projects; and WHEREAS, Hamilton County has agreed to provide some offenders to perform community service work on certain projects for the City under the direction of the Director of the Courts Community Service Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Chattanooga would reimburse Hamilton County in the annual amount of $31,500.00 ($2,625.00 monthly) for personnel costs attributable to this project in accordance with the agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute a Joint Agreement between the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County relative to the Hamilton County Courts Community Service Program.
